Andrew Inglis - Director of Learning

Andrew brings over 20 years experience within the Vocational Education sector working with people in leadership development, workplace training and assessment, facilitation and business coaching. Andrew provides innovative approaches through developing creative solutions with individuals, business, and communities. Andrew holds the International APEC Business Counselling qualification and provides mentoring assistance to individuals who wish to start their own businesses with a key focus on Indigenous empowerment. His international experience includes developing and delivering innovative and customised training programs for government, industry, non government organisations and communities in Papua New Guinea, Malaysia, Tanzania, Mali, Indonesia, Samoa.

Julie Inglis -  Managing Director  

Julie brings over 12 years experience within the Higher Education, Vocational Education and School sector providing high level Project Management and strategic leadership within local and international environment. In addition she has extensive experience in business development, scoping new ideas and successfully tendering for multi-million dollar projects locally and nationally. She has demonstrated highly successful track record leading and managing multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural project teams locally, nationally and internationally having worked in Australia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Tanzania, New Zealand, Vietnam and Thailand and currently hold qualifications in Management, Training and Assessment, Project Management and International Development.

Penny McAlister - Training Co-ordinator

Penny is an experienced facilitator with over 12 years experience training others to excel in achieving their goals.  She has an extensive background in the fitness and tourism industry having owned and operated her own Personal Training studio and employed by Flight Centre for over 5 years leading and managing a successful team to achieve targets.  She is passionate about assisting others to provide a high level of customer service which resulted in her being awarded Million Dollar Sales Consultant, Global Sales Consultant & Domestic Achiever.  Penny currently owns & manages her own Holiday Accommodation property giving her current and hands on tourism experience.  She now applies all her experience to training with Learning Potential International in Business & Customer Service,  Tourism, Hospitality & Trades sectors.

Clyde Rigney (Snr) - Facilitator, Coach and Mentor 

Clyde Rigney (Snr) is Ngarrenjeri and has a career history and work life in Aboriginal and non Aborignal Community organisations which spans 26 Years. He has held managerial responsibilities for the Baptist Community Services for  the overall direction and leadership of Indigenous business leading a team within the organisation to deliver services to community and negotiate Indigenous Strategic direction and planning of the organisation including key partnerships and regional arrangements in Metropolitan and country regions.  In addition he has mapped and assessed the capacity and skills of Indigenous people in the Murraylands.He is an experienced facilitator developing skills within Indigenous businesses, organisations and communities.  

Basil Coleman - Facilitator, Coach and Mentor

Basil is a descendent of the Kokatha and Pitjantjajara people of South Australia with family and cultural connections to many communities state wide and is an activeand respected member of the Indigenous community in Adelaide. Basil has extensive experience in community engagement and development and successfully managed various multi-million dollar community organisations over the past 15 years. He has a strong focus on developing and providing skills and practical advice to unemployed Indigenous people and is a Facilitator and Coach for the FacHSIA Indigenous Leadership programam.  Basil is a key member of the Coaching and Mentoring team specialising in cross cultural training.

Clyde Rigney (Jnr) - Facilitator, Coach and Mentor

Clyde is a proud Ngarrenjeri man from South Australia. He is experienced in e-commerce, computing, project management, Indigenous employment and regional development. Clyde adds youth and a new generational perspective to the team and has assisted communities and organisations in strategic planning and identifying skills to achieve goals within communities. Clyde has a background in youth work, coordinating employment programs and strategic development for Indigenous communities.

Sonya Mackenzie - Facilitator, Coach & Mentor

Sonya is a small business owner with a 20 year career in the field of education and training both in the Northern Territory and Queensland.  She is recognised internationally as a Training Associate with Thinking Collaborative: Cognitive Coaching collegial coaching methodology and as a Senior Training Consultant with contracts working in Australia and the United Kingdom where she delivers courses and works as an executive coach.  Sonya has extensive experience of Learning and Development having developed, led and evaluated a broad range of programs for educators and corporate staff. Her areas of expertise include seminar facilitation, executive and peer coaching, leadership, program and project management, group/team development, plus a range of trainer initiatives and continuous professional development programs.

Sonya holds a Bachelor of Education: Further Education and Training and a Graduate Diploma in Psychology. She is currently completing a Masters of Education International with a focus on the development of coaching cultures within education and training systems and organisations.  Sonya’s focus also includes Cognitive Coaching, Executive Coaching and Career Development.  Sonya is a qualified Trainer and is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and the Australia and New Zealand Institute of Coaching (ANZIC).

 

Facilitators, Coaches, Mentors and Assessors

LPI has developed a professional, qualified and experienced team to work in key areas of the business. Specialist facilitators are responsible for accredited program delivery and assessment. Coaches and mentors are matched to meet client needs. Our Indigenous Business Team provides culturally appropriate support services to communities, organisations and individuals. LPI provides cross-cultural coaching and mentoring support to empower individuals and organisations to achieve results.
