Learning Potential App Released

The new  Learning Potential app developed by the Federal Department of Education and Training has become the number one free education app on iTunes and Google Play since its release 2 weeks ago.  It has won favour with parents and educators alike having been downloaded by more than 63 000 users.

The app provides a way for parents, Grandparents and caregivers to become involved in their children’s learning from the highchair to high school through informative tips, ideas and advice on their child’s education.  The app includes 11 short videos and 142 articles, developed in consultation with the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority.

Users can personalise the app for one or more children and is completely private as no data will be collected.  The tips and hints provided will be relevant to each child’s age and will include fun and easy ways to stimulate learning.  Research indicates that parental involvement can significantly boost a child’s learning outcomes, regardless of parents’ occupation, education or income. The Learning Potential app is an inspired way to help parents unlock their children’s potential for future growth.

The app is free to download on Android and Apple devices, and more information is available from the app website at https://education.gov.au/news/new-learning-potential-app

Now is the time to start unlocking your child’s potential, and set them up for their brightest future.
